  The Stable Friendships Foundation is dedicated to providing access to holistic and evidence-based treatment for individuals with special needs. Our approach combines various therapies and outdoor wellness activities to promote the overall health and well-being of children and their families, regardless of their financial circumstances.

At the heart of our mission is hippotherapy, a unique therapeutic approach that involves partnering with equines to enhance physical, cognitive, and emotional development. 

Our team of dedicated and experienced speech, physical, and occupational therapists work closely with children with various medical and developmental conditions and their families to address their specific needs.

Our therapeutic approach also honors

the profound bond between humans and horses, and seeks to nurture a community that treats our equine

partners with the utmost care, dignity, and respect.

In addition to therapy, we understand the importance of supporting the broader community. We offer outdoor wellness programming  and volunteer opportunities that not only benefit the children we support, but also create a nurturing and inclusive environment for families and community members to connect, learn, and rejuvenate.

Our wellness center also serves as an educational hub for families and healthcare professionals. We provide comprehensive educational programs, offering workshops, seminars, and resources to empower families with knowledge and tools to support their child's development. Furthermore we conduct our research initiatives and share results to ensure that the latest findings, best practices and advancements are made available to the larger therapeutic community, enabling others to implement evidence-based practices in their programs.
